Frank Lloyd Wright’s Wisconsin: How America’s Most Famous Architect Found Inspiration in His Home State has been the subject of a lot of press. Clearly, people love this architect’s work! The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel named the book among its top 44 new books for summer 2023. And the Wausau Daily Herald highlighted me and the book as part of its Lit Wisconsin series, mentioning the book as well in this story about Wright-designed and Wright-protege-designed homes in Wisconsin you can spend the night in. Bobby Tanzilo at OnMilwaukee.com interviewed me with five questions (and my answers) for this article. Shepherd Express included my comments on Milwaukee’s Burnham Block in a recent article about this collection of six American System-Built Homes on Milwaukee’s South Side and Dave Luhrssen reviewed the book positively. Joy Powers with WUWM (Milwaukee’s NPR) interviewed me about the book (segment starts at 23:46). I also provided insight to the book’s journey on writing coach Rochelle Melander’s website. Kudos, too, to Virginia Small for including my book-launch event in her story for Shepherd Express about Taliesin Preservation’s new Trail Tracker for the Frank Lloyd Wright Trail. And as a preview to my June 27 appearance at Mystery to Me in Madison, Isthmus provided details on the book. At the Lake in Lake Geneva also featured my book in its Autumn 2023 issue—alongside Neil Gaiman’s American Gods!

I’m also grateful for Bob Dolan, for including me in his new Wisconsin Icons series where we chatted about Frank Lloyd Wright. Check it out in this YouTube link.
